Heavy metal has always been alive and strong throughout Europe and Asia for many years. They do not follow the trends of America for the most part. Although I love ALL music with a passion and have an mp3 and music video collection of nearly 40,000, I would have to say Metal/ Hard Rock has always been my favorite. I have been a “headbanger” since my early teens. I could go on about all the different aspect of my music tastes, but in this post I wanna focus on “The beautiful ladies of Metal“. Specifically the gothic type with some having vocals with a classical nature even borderline opera sounding. (My terminology is not so great) and a few other too. If I ever do start a band, I am a drummer, I want to play music such as this with a female vocalist of course. In doing my research for this post, I found there were more women fronting heavy metal/gothic bands than I remembered. My list kept growing and growing. I am quite familiar with 95% of them.
